Washington Ballet Cancels Entire Run
The Washington Ballet has canceled this evenings production of the Nutcracker. The Warner Theatre's website suggests that the rest of the run will also be canceled.
It is hard to know exactly how this will affect the rest of the season. Management has been clear that the revenue generated during this time of the year funds much of the remaining season. It is very hard for me not to question whether the funds will be available to finish the rest of the season as planned.

The Washington Ballet site is now also announcing the cancellation of the entire run. And yes, I also think the rest of the season is in serious financial jeopardy.
