Future of historic New Orleans theater uncertain


The hurricanes in the south this fall have affected all aspects of life, and as one might expect the arts haven’t been left out. The Historic Orpheum Theater suffered from sever water damage. What’s more, it wasn’t covered by flood insurance. Its owners, a group of private shareholders are uncertain about its future. Its home to the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, the nation's only full-time symphony owned and operated by its musicians.
