Hong Kong arts center still possible

Plans for the gigantic new Arts Center in China were scrapped earlier this week. The story was picked up in most of the major news outlets. You can view the NY Times, Financial Times, or Taipei Times for that story. Today the Hong Kong Standard reported on new steps being taken by the Hong Kong government to re-work the project.
...the new plan will "balance demand and supply. Some consultants have informed the government that in planning for cultural venues and artistic venues, it is frequently supply-driven rather than demand-driven. But then again, we believe it is prudent to listen to the voice of the community in their artistic aspirations."
You can find the full story at The Standard, here.
