White House hosts Dance Theatre of Harlem

The President and First Lady played host to dance legend Arthur Mitchell and his company The Dance Theatre of Harlem at the White House yesterday. Mitchell got up out of his seat, took Laura Bush by the hand and began to dance with her. The president was not far behind.
Bush honored Mitchell at the dinner, saying: "Tonight, I offer a toast to the achievements and continued success of Arthur Mitchell and the Dance Theatre of Harlem."
