Kirk Peterson new director of ABT's Studio Company.

A local paper, the Asbury Park Press, reported on Sunday that Kirk Peterson will be the new Director of American Ballet Theater's 12 member studio company. A ballet master for the main company since 1999 his experience within the organization should serve well. Mr. Peterson also served as head of the Hartford Ballet from 1993-1998.
