Washington Ballet Announces 06 - 07 Season

After a long year of disputes, and an eventual work stoppage the Washington Ballet has announced its 2006-2007 season. The Washington Post reported today,
"Audiences will see an assortment of short works, including noteworthy pieces by Jerome Robbins and Twyla Tharp. But unlike in past seasons, there will be no out-of-town tours and no full-length ballets other than "The Nutcracker." Executive Director Jason Palmquist said he has refigured the ballet's budget at $6.5 million, down from the $7.5 million previously announced."
