Sean Connery's Ballet, Black Lake

It was revealed in a new autobiography of Sean Connery, by his ex-wife, Diane Cilento, that in the midst of his roles as Bond he began writing his own ballet. Connery at one point went far enough as to take the conception to George Balanchine. Of Black Lake ex-wife Cilento says,
"He could hear it all in his head. It was like Swan Lake, but far more Macbethian and more classical ballet than modern."
The British Times has the full story, here.

This story was also picked up by a Bond 007 fan blog.
