There hasnt been much in the way of news that I'm willing to report on lately, if you'd like to read more on whats happening at Ballet W est, you can find links to recent articles, here

Sylvie Guillem, arguably Europe’s most famous ballerina has been appointed Associate Artist of Sadler's Wells. The London Theatre Guide announced that with the title she will join fellow stars Akram Khan, Matthew Bourne, Russell Maliphant, the Ballet Boyz and Jonzi D. all of whom also hold Associate Artist positions.

Guillem has already made herself an integral part of Sadler Wells; her creation of PUSH won several awards including a Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Dance in 2006. It will be the first Sadler Wells production to come to the United States and is scheduled to debut at the New York City Center this autumn.

Guillem seems to appreciate the opportunities Salder Wells is able to offer her, as she has noted, “Sadler's Wells is an ideal space for me to nurture and evolve my art in a creative and supportive environment. The process of collaboration is a very exciting one, it's not just about your own journey of discovery it's more about discovering and understanding the other person and the way they work.”
